CIJ(Centre For Independent Journalsim) will commemorate this year World Press Freedom Day in Penang, together with Suaram Penang and local media group to mainly launch a handbook, which compiling the best practices of reporting on ethnicity.

Besides that, we hope to make it into a more interesting event, probabbly with exhibition, survey, photography contest, film screening or music show, to attract participation from the mass public.

We will set up our organizing committee on 14 April , 8.30pm at suaram office, who are interested can contact Low (012-4520913) or Ooi (016-4440406).

简介：
独立新闻中心（CIJ,Centre For Independent Journalsim）今年将与槟州人民之声及记者组织合作，把《世界新闻自由日》的活动移师到槟城举行。到时，主要会推介一项种族课题的新闻报导手册。

此外，我们希望筹备一系列有趣的活动，如戏剧演出／音乐会、短片播放、圆桌讨论坛、展览、摄影比赛、民调等黄丝带运动，让全民共同参与、纪念与反思这个富有意义的节日，
