3/4, in his first address to the nation as prime minister, Najib Abdul Razak said the government has freed 13 Internal Security Act (ISA) detainees.

4/4, according to a Bernama report, Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan announced that the detainees will leave the detention centre tomorrow after all the documentation process are completed.

4/4, detainee’s wife Buvaniswary said: "The officials inside said we have to wait for the letter of release. So far there's no indication of his release."

4/4, “this move is definitely politically-motivated or maneuvering with its timing designed carefully to rake in the votes to affect the outcome of the three by-elections. The outcome of the three by-elections are crucial in order to exert his influence as the new prime minister and (as the president of) BN,” Syed Ibrahim said in a statement today.
