The Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR) tolls are starting to collect toll on 21 Feb, except the controversial toll plaza at Sungai Nyior. According to Samy Vellu on 16 Feb, the government has decided to defer the toll collection at the Sungai Nyior toll plaza of the BORR.
This is a victory for the people who protest against the toll, but we shall be watched out, because the federal government only postponed it for the the moment as the protest mounted. We should continue to campaign to get rid of tolls in Penang.
We are also need to start think of stopping anticipated toll invasion on the island.
